As Director, Strategic Industries, Retail and Consumer, EMEA, Mark is responsible for creating and executing Google Cloud’s EMEA industry, partner, and go-to-market strategy in these strategic industries - helping Retail & Consumer businesses unlock the power of the Cloud to drive value for their business and improve customer experiences.

Previous to Google, Mark was CEO of Commerce-as-a-Service at WPP, the world’s leading media and advertising company. At WPP Mark was responsible for building Everymile - a digital ecommerce and technology platform business created to deliver world-class consumer experiences on behalf of global consumer brands.

Mark has a broad range of experience in the Retail and Consumer industries gained from holding senior leadership roles in large scale enterprises, most notably as Digital Director for Sainsbury’s Argos in the UK, where he was responsible for leading ecommerce, product development, and digital strategy & transformation at the UK’s largest online multichannel retailer.
