VP Convenience Value Proposition

bp

David Pitron is VP for global convenience proposition development and also heads the European offer development team. He and his teams led the development of bp’s convenience growth engine strategy and now support its strategic delivery across 14 markets, developing the existing and designing the future convenience and mobility propositions.

David has lived and worked extensively across bp markets in a number of retail and customer facing commercial and strategy roles. He led the expansion of the UK M&S Food relationship, the foundation of several European retailer agreements and was instrumental in bp’s recent US acquisitions of Thorntons and Travel Centres of America.

Prior to bp, David has worked at M&S and Compass Group, and has spent time as commercial director for MFG, as well as running his own retail consultancy business.
